Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.25%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.74% or 0.71 points to trade at 41.49 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 1.68% or 3.00 points to end at 181.80 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.39% or 4.10 points to 298.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 1.38% or 3.9 points to trade at 279.5 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) declined 1.01% or 1.8 points to end at 177.3 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 0.99% or 2.2 points to 219.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 446 to 289 and 81 ended unchanged.

Shares in Boliden AB (ST:BOL) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 1.39% or 4.10 to 298.60.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.56% or 0.29 to $51.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.84% or 0.48 to hit $57.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.96 to trade at $1305.56 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 9.5658, while USD/SEK fell 0.08% to 8.1014.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 93.00.
